Plot
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-standing rivalry comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner was filming at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. It’s absolutely amazing – the wit, the targeting, the humor, the characters, the 80s objectivity, the cast, the locations – it’s perfect for a TV series. This is the kind of TV that’s been missing for at least the last decade – it’s got it all. Emotions and joy, tears of laughter and sadness, nostalgia for steroids and a cast that acts perfectly. I have not one bad word to say about this show. Hats off to the writers, cast, crew, and everyone else involved, because there are too many words to remember in the first round!
